WissTrans – Wissenstransfer durch innovative Fortbildungskonzepte beim Flächenrecycling / Flächenmanagement
Current or recently completed research projects regarding the topic of brownfield regeneration in Europe and Germany show promising results with respect to sustainable developments. However, often these results have not reached the users of those recommended tools, e.g. stakeholders dealing with the management of brownfield redevelopment.
The project WissTrans (Transfer of knowledge via innovative advanced training concepts for land recycling/land management) with its e-learning-platform ELNAB (E-Learning for substainable brownfield regeneration) has been conceived to close this gap between developers and users. Its goal was to transfer these results of the research to regional and local authorities, to private project developers and to consulting companies dealing with the management of brownfield redevelopment.
